Bullying Mediation Utah
Bullying has become a pressing concern in schools and the work place. This can take many forms including physical, verbal, non-verbal, direct and indirect harassment. In all of its various forms, bullying and harassment are inappropriate and potentially damaging to the victim. When bullying has gone too far, a dispute may arise and a case is created against the bully.
Many bullying cases can be easily resolved through mediation. Both parties involved in the dispute usually continue to work or go to school together after the dispute has been resolved. Using mediation to resolve the dispute can help repair the relationship between the two parties and prevent further bullying by the victimizer. Mediation is completely voluntary and confidential which provides both parties with protection of personal information.
If, at any time, either party feels the need for formal litigation, they can stop mediation and file the case with the court. Mediation allows both parties to communicate openly and find a mutual agreement for the resolution of the dispute. If this does not happen the case can be litigated and the decision can be made by the courts.
